DECEMBER - FULL BOOKTRAILERS ACTIVITIES

December is a quite cold month in Romania, but inside the school the activities are "burning". The kids are occupied with the lecture, with the drawings, with the colours and texts. Beside this the teachers are organized disseminations and exhibitions with the work of kids. In 5 december at Divrta bookstore from Vitan - Bucharest mall, was organied a very nice presentation of our work. teachers Bazarciuc, Tudor and Mateiana with a lot of students and parentsshow to the readers which fullfill hte bookstore what is the benefit of lecture. Paralelly other activities were hel in the school, based on it (padlet messages and constructions) and lecture. In the middle of class 4A teacher Dobrescu and Anca reand and talk about the Dambovta legend and about the importance of this river iin the life of Bucarest. The discussions were incredible, kids connected the river with the polution, the forest with the agriculture, the Carpathians with the Aurel Vlaice, and Aurel Vlaicu was connected with other big inventors of the mankind. The legend of Dambovita said that a fairy ladu give to dambovita 2 gifts : a little silver knife and a spindle. the knife is lost but the spindle is still somewhere, passing through a generation to another one. The kids belive that this spindle is a part of our character. could be the courage, could be the sense of truth... they still read and still thinking about...

WORKSHOPS, LECTURES, CREATIONS, VISITS, PRESENTATIONS

In last 40 days students and teachers of the school work a lot in the project Booktrailers and videostorytelling. How to teach and learn reading appreciations. They read about Legend of Dambovita (the main river of Bucharest), about classic  tales and folkloric tales, Especially the stories which are contained in the big memorialistic book "Memories from the childhood" written by the romanian classic writter Ion Creanga, were in the central attention of the teachers and students, because the connection with the present years of our students is very obviously. meories from the childhood, present childhood. Childhood. Ion Creanga writte this memories after 45 yars old and he declare that "when he is thinking at that years he is very touched". We try to connect the students with this feelings of our great classic writters. We try to connect the students with our local area so we concentrated about the beauties fo Bucharest and on the deep history of the place, The river was once time a beautifull girl, says a ancestral local legend. The  lecture workshops and the discussions about the lectures are completed with graffic and painting workkshops and by visits in the local area, especially along the river.  After the work we start to make presentations of the project and of the creations. One of the biggest presentations is made it during december 2016 at the oldest commercial center of Bucharest, Bucharest Mall, where, in partenership with one of the largest bookstore chains of Romania (we name here the DIVERTA bookstore company) or colleagues and our students expose their creations inspired from the books and popularized the ideas of our euorpena project. MEET FILM FESTIVAL - MAZARRA DEL VALLO 26 SEPT.- 2 OCT. 2016

Between 26 sept. - 02 oct. 2016 a team from our school, composed from 2 teachers (prof. Mihaela-Gabriela Bazarciuc si Aurora Tudor) and some little students from 5th class take part at Meet Film festival which was been held in Italy, at Mazara del Vallo city. The host were the  School 3° Circolo didattico “Baldo Bonsignore” in  partnership with   MEET Association, from  Mazara del Vallo – Italia. 

The coordinator of the project was a perfect host and welcome our team as well the 
rest of the teams. Everybody feel very good because our hosts welcome us  with
 national flags and little speaches in all the languages of he participants. The activities 
were very various starting with concerts, with theatre plays and dance moments . Pupils 
were involved in a lot of cultural and sports activities , like basketball games or rhytm and 
music activities. The idea of the project  is to develop the tolerance and inter-personal
 communications and we appreciate that the scope was perfectly touched. during the
 festival were organized movie rooms were all the participants have the occasion to

 appreciate the productions of the creators. Finally was held a press conference where
 participate all the important persons of the community and the regional mass-media. 

In intervalul 26 sept. - 02 oct. 2016, doi membri ai echipei de proiect „Booktrailers  and 
Videostorytelling: How to teach and learn reading appreciation”, (prof. Mihaela-Gabriela 
Bazarciuc si Aurora Tudor) împreună cu doua eleve selecționate din cls a V-a A (Andreea Mitu 
și  Alexandra Breahnă) au partcipat la primul Festival de film MEET,  organizat de School 3° 
Circolo didattico “Baldo Bonsignore” in colaborare cu Asociatia MEET, din Mazara del 
Vallo –  Italia. 

Coordonatorul proiectului ne-a intampinat cu urari de bun venit in toate limbile proiectului si 
au fluturat steagurile tarilor europene partenere. Au fost vizionate spectacole de muzica si dans
 pe cantece pe tematica proiectului, interpretari in  

costume ale personajelor din cartile literaturii italiene pentru copii.

 Elevii au fost antrenati in activitati sportive (meciuri de basket), activitati de ritm si muzica pentru dezvoltarea atitudinilor civice (prietenie, toleranta, respect etc.), comunicare interpersonala si interculturala.

Elevii au participat la workshopuri indoor si outdoor organizate de Asociatia MEET si scoala gazda. Copii au fost implicati in realizarea de foto-rame cu personajele centrale ale cartilor/ povestilor pe care le-au 
citit. Au defilat pe strazile orasului in frunte cu mascota Erasmino, fluturand steagurile nationale 
si purtand tricourile cu insemnele proiectului. 

Pe perioada celor 3 zile de festival au fost vizionate filmele educative și ascultate comentariile
 producătorii acestora. In final, am participat la o conferinta de presa la care au fost invitati
 reprezentanti de seama ai autoritatilor locale, N.A. si, bineinteles, din domeniul educatiei.

Meet Film Festival and Volos transnational meeting

Since april 2016 was a lot of jobs to do. to work in an international project is a big challange and the targets are high. Entire spring and firrstpart of summer were completely subject to preparing hematerials for the Mazzara del Vallo Meet Film Festival (end of september 2016) . The project team from School95 work hardly and completed a large number of videos (5) - 2 booktrailers (based on the folkloric tales "The Bear which had been cheeted by the Fox" and "The OldMan Daughter and the OldWoman

Daughter",), 2 videostorytelling products and a little documentary movie based on the Old City "Bucharest - a Magic place between Carpathians and Danube". A lot to read with the children, to shoot, to edit, to cut and add,, to create. Also. during this time the members of the project team hold a lot of dissemination , workshops and little courses in other educational institutions. As a result of this job, another school from Bucharest send a booktrailer to Mazzara del Vallo - product based on the classic romanian story " Harap Alb". So, the Bucharest have a  very good presence at Mazzara film festival, a large european festival which summon over 1400 movies !!!! The italian parteners have a hard job to select the best movies and booktrailers.
In fist days of september ,at Volos (Greece) was held the transnational meeting of the project, meeting which was an occasion to talk largely about the products / outputs of the Booktrailer project, about the curiculla of the project and also about the Meet Film Festival. With the same occasion  we have the oppotunity to visit some of the most interesting cultural points of Volos area; an old Brick factory (Tsalapata Museum) and two historical mountain villages from Pellion area.  Everywhere we have the chance to face the historical greek traditions, the signs of greek culture. Excellent materials which we will change it

 in schoolar educational materials .

Project meeting in Romania 14-15 april 2016

The partners of this wonderfull program meet in Bucharest, in order to communicate their progresses, to analyse the project and to set up the next objective. During the meeting they observe some of the activities which are currently held in in Romania. and after that take part at he working sessions.
